OLD Shop Policies- before i discovered the template
What is your order processing time?
Every single order is carefully packed by me (Julia) and hand carried to the post office. After you buy your item, please allow up to 3 business days for me to get your order packed and out the door.
How long does shipping take?
Default shipping speed is USPS First Class Letter or Package rate. After the order is shipped, orders can generally take 3-4 days to get to you. This is in addition to the processing time which can be up to 3 days.
My shop is located in New Jersey on the East Coast. Allow a little extra time if you're over on the West Coast or outside the continental US.
Does it come with tracking?
Small, flat purchases that can fit into a 5x7" envelope (i.e. stickers or sample packs) are shipped USPS First Class letter rate and do NOT come with tracking.
Everything else (note pads, notebooks, etc) is packaged in either a padded mailer or a rigid mailer and shipped USPS First Class Package Rate. It WILL come with tracking.
What if I need it faster?
For faster delivery, I offer USPS Priority Mail which takes 2-3 days and comes with tracking. Again, this is in addition to the processing time which can be up to 3 days.
If you're in a real rush, please e-mail me BEFORE placing your order informing me of your deadline and to discuss your options. I'll do everything I can to make sure your package arrives in time, but sometimes delays in the Postal Service (especially around the holidays) make this impossible. I think my package is lost?
Shipping times tend to experience extra delays around high traffic times like the Christmas season. Nine times out of ten, your order just needs a little extra time to get to you.
Check your order confirmation e-mail for a tracking number (if you ordered anything bigger than stickers) and check the USPS website to see the latest updates in your package's journey. Please also call your local US Post Office for assistance.
If it's been over 3 weeks from the time of ordering and your package STILL hasn't arrived, contact the USPS to report a lost package and e-mail me at suchgoodbirds(at)gmail(dot)com to inform me of the situation.
Where do you shop to?
Currently the Such Good Birds Shopify store only ships to the United States.

Return and Exchange Policy
Do you accept Returns or Exchanges?
At this time I do not accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact me within 30 days of placing your order.
What if my Item arrives damaged ?
I take pride in making sure your items get to you in perfect condition. If your order arrives damaged or parts missing, please take photos of everything -- item, packaging, etc. For example, if the package arrives with a big tear in it, take photos of that before opening it. Then contact me as soon as possible. Together we'll decide what the best course of action would be. Please contact me within 30 days of placing your order but sooner is preferable.
About the Art
Are you the artist?
Yup! Every item in this shop is designed and drawn by me (Julia).
How do you make your items?
First I draw and prepare a digital file that I send to my manufacturer. I have help from professional print shops, textile factories, and similar shops that create the items for me. Once the items arrive to my studio, I check each item for quality and add branding and packaging. All orders are shipped by me.
Will you make so-and-so type of item?
This shop's special focus is bird-themed stationery. In the past, I created non-bird themed products, but since 2020 I decided that birds are my favorite niche and passion.
Moving forward, I plan to exclusively create around the theme of birds, any and all of them, so if there's a particular species you want to see, please let me know.
The stationery I create is mostly flat paper goods like school/office supplies, but I also offer small accessories like charms or pins. I'm not interested in branching out into other non-stationery products, though occasionally I might add a special item. If there's a certain type of product you really want to see, please let me know.
Do you offer commissions?
No, I don't offer commissions of any type.

Who is that bird on the logo?That's a white crested black polish chicken on my logo- her name is Pancake. She is a beauty queen and fashion model. Occasionally my social media posts will be written in her voice. The knife is a reminder to SLASH through the negative thoughts and to CUT OUT time for yourself in the day.
